Talk about kicking the hand that feeds you...

I know, it's "biting the hand that feeds you" but in this case Ryan was KICKED.

He was working at the zoo on Saturday and went to feed Sydney, the 30yr old camel.  Sydney used to be nice until his camel-buddy died and he was left all alone. Now he's mean. 

This is Sydney.  When Ryan took him his food he hauled off and kicked Ryan.

We were told that Ryan was unconscious for about 5 min.  The head keeper grabbed Ryan with one hand and started dragging him to safety while swatting away Sydney with the other hand.  They took Ryan in the barn where he woke up and immediately stood up, wondering why he was sleeping in the barn!!!

They had the VET come and check Ryan out.  Really. A Vet.  Guess you take what you can get.  He has a mild concussion, but so far the worst is dizziness.

Hard to believe an animal will hurt you when you are trying to do something nice to him like FEED HIM.

But then we do the same with God sometimes.  He's only trying to do what's best for us and we get upset and stomp our feet when we don't like or understand what is happening.  God, who has given us EVERYTHING, who has our best interest at heart.  But we don't search out time to spend with Him each day.

Sometimes we're just like Sydney!
