Extreme Home Makeover does 22 houses per season, usually 2 in a week. There are two teams and Ty Pennington flies back and forth between the two locations.
This week they are building a house in Wichita and one here in the Chattanooga area.
The family has a 9yr old son with Brittle Bone Disease and he's has 59 broken bones in his short life. They are at Disney right now while their new home is being built. It's been interesting to follow the live feeds and information of what is going on at the site. The team here includes Leigh Ann Tuohy (Blindside), Ed (the bald Aussie), Eduardo and Ty. I don't remember all of the names, but that's the basic. We're having nice weather this week and someone was hoping Paige would be there in a bikini, but it's not THAT hot and Paige is at the other location.
This show will air in about 6-8 weeks, so if you see a show featuring a family in Rossville, GA with one child, a 9yr old boy w/ Brittle Bone Disease...that's near where we live!
